RED Festival

See our special page giving full details of this wonderful event.

Harvest Festival

This year our Harvest Services are on Sunday 5th October. At the morning service we will welcome our Brigades for their annual re-dedication. The Church will be decorated on the morning of Saturday 4th October. You are invited to come along from 9:30 to bring your gifts of flowers or fresh or tinned produce or to help decorate the Church, or both – all contributions gratefully accepted.

Our Harvest Supper will be held during the evening of 4th October. As we are still in our 40th year when we remember that our present building opened in 1968, we are holding a 1968 evening. Can you remember what you wore in 1968 or what you looked like or what you ate or what music you listened to? We hope this fun evening will stir some memories. Tickets will be on sale in early September, so watch the Notice Sheet for details.

Gift Service - December 7th

You are invited to bring a red bauble to decorate our Christmas tree and/or a gift of clothing suitable for a child at Udobo School which cares for children up to age 7. This could be socks, pants, tee-shirts, cardigans, jumpers (are you a knitter?) etc. We are trying to keep our gifts as light as possible because of the cost of postage. We would also ask that gifts are accompanied by £1 coin which will go into “The Red Box” and help towards the costs of carriage. We also ask that, unless the item is RED, it is wrapped in RED paper. The gifts will form part of our Red Festival display.
