Our church is designated as a 'Place of Welcome' and on Tuesday mornings, there will always be someone in Church to welcome in strangers, offer them help and advice or perhaps just a cup of tea or coffee and a chat.
Each year our Church raises money for a nominated charity, chosen by Church Council. Throughout the year most of our fundraising goes to this project.
For 2017/2018 we are supporting The Haven Project, based at Welsh House Farm. They aim to provide a safe and fun place for people of all ages to come together. Friendly staff are there to support everyone and to give guidance in many areas of life. Read more about them on their website, http://havencommunityproject.com.
We are seeking someone (male or female) to help with grass cutting. It takes about an hour a month – summer only. It’s vital that we keep the Church looking attractive to outsiders. Training given. Please ring the Church on 0121 422 1177 and leave your name and number if no answer. We WILL get back to you.
