Book Sale

Once again Englesea Brook Chapel and Museum will be here with their marvellous collection of second-hand books (over 10,000). They will be at QMC from Saturday, 11th Feb to Saturday, 18th Feb from 10am to 5pm daily, except Sunday, with late opening until 8pm on Thursday, 16th Feb.

Coffee Concert

The annual coffee concert will be held on Saturday, 4 February. Event begins at 10.00 am with coffee and refreshments and various stalls selling cakes, jams, etc. Tony Billingham Jazz Trio will give a concert beginning at 11.00 am for approximately 1 hour. Tickets (to include refreshments) are £4 per person and are available after morning service or on the day. Proceeds will be donated to the church project.

Induction of New Minister

The induction of a new minister, Reverend Kerry Birch, will take place at Carters Lane Baptist Church on Saturday, 11 February at 3 pm, followed by refreshments.

Circuit Burns Night

On Saturday, 11 February from 7 to 9 pm, all welcome at our Burns Night. Tickets are £5 each or £15 for a family ticket. This is a Circuit evening and the wearing of tartan is to be encouraged. Tickets available after morning service or via John Cowan, Chairman).

Menu: Soup, Haggis wi' neeps and champit tatties, tea, coffee and biscuits. Come along and enjoy a "rare nicht wi Burns".

Fundraising Quiz Night

Zoe Parkinson, a member of the Girls' Brigade will be hosting a quiz evening in the church hall on Monday, 13 February at 7.00 pm to raise money for a mission trip to Kosova which she will be making this summer with Girls' Brigade and Smile International. Please come along, have fun and support her. Light refreshments available. Entry £2.00 on the door.

Pudding Evening

By persistent request! On 24 March, we will once again be holding a Pudding Evening. Offers to make puddings are eagerly awaited by Jan Jones. Offers of washing up are also needed.

Bible Study
