QMC's 11th Arts & Crafts Festival will take place from Friday to Sunday, 18 to 20 May. This will include a flower display and a hobby section as well as the usual craft and art sections. The restaurant will again be open for refreshments during your visit. Craig Yates, a popular bariton from Only Men Aloud, will be in concert on Friday, 18 May at 7.30 pm. The Lay Witness weekend takes place on 6, 7, 8 July 2012. This is an opportunity for ordinary people to explore the Christian faith together. It will feature a simultaneous programme of activities on two sites - QMC and Sandon Road Methodist Chursh. It is a low-key, gentle approach led by a team of visiting lay people, who share some of their experiences as Christians and is an opportunity to explore the work and witness of the church and to examine the relationship with Jesus. We are asked to pray each Sunday for the success of the weekend and we are also asked to find 3 volunteers to pray at 7pm every day for all that is involved in making this weekend a success. If you feel you are able to do this, please see one of the Stewards after morning worship. Full details on page 16 in our current magazine.
